Abstract

Student Attention Investigation: The Use of Virtual Reality in Computer Education

Abstract: This research explores the results of attention and meditation in test studies conducted with text readings and experiments in a virtual reality museum that employs various technologies such as images, videos, 3D reconstructions, etc. The criteria for imageability, interactivity, navigability, personalization and communication with chatterbot are presented. The results of the statistical analyzes of the student's state of attention are investigated and the impact of virtual reality analyzed. The educational potential is enhanced by incorporating complex 3D constructions into an immersive Virtual World. This article contributes to the understanding of attention stimuli in the educational impact with virtual reality. Therefore, findings have a broader impact and can be generalized to be relevant after the investigations completed.

Keywords: Virtual reality. Attention states. Educational impact.
