Abstract

This article addresses the integration of technologies, especially Artificial Intelligence (AI), into school management, arguing that an effective and democratic environment for all school stakeholders is related to their active participation. The qualitative research applied questionnaires to managers from different spheres of public education, which showcase a diversity of approaches in the use of technology and AI. The findings highlight the need to balance the utilization of technologies with meaningful human interactions, emphasizing critical thinking, communication, collectivity, and creativity. AI is responsible for optimizing administrative processes and contributing positively to the teaching-learning process. It is underscored that AI implementation must be careful and centered on human development. The study concludes that, to fully benefit from technologies in school management, it is essential to invest in continuous training and adequate infrastructure, thereby fostering a culture in schools that values both technological innovation and interpersonal relationships.
