Abstract

This study aims to develop a methodology that facilitates interdisciplinary teaching in the Integrated Technical Course in Informatics at the High School level. The research is grounded in the works of authors such as Fazenda (1994), Barros (2019), Japiassu (1976), and Morin (2004), among others. Through action research, the study sought to identify pathways that would enable interdisciplinary didactic experiences. Data collection was carried out through the documentary analysis of the pedagogical project and a questionnaire answered by course instructors. The research findings suggest that interdisciplinarity serves as a pedagogical approach that promotes the comprehension and assimilation of knowledge in a non-fragmented manner, providing a productive path for the complex task of teaching and learning. However, the questionnaire results reveal that a lack of in-depth knowledge of the subject by some educators may hinder the development of this approach. In summary, this study presents a methodological proposal aimed at guiding High School Informatics teachers in the implementation of interdisciplinary teaching practices. It is posited that the interdisciplinary approach offers an opportunity to break down the rigid boundaries separating disciplines and foster dialogue among different fields of knowledge.
