Abstract

Abstract: This article deals with the importance of a Brazilian anti-racist education these days. It brings historical, ontological, and racial elements as an argumentative basis with regard to the challenges of Afroperspectivism, a philosophical current espoused by the Brazilian Renato Noguera, and the Intersubjectivation of the Mozambican José P. Castiano. These references from African Philosophy are presented as necessary pedagogical practices capable of fighting racism in the school community. The research has the characteristic of a theoretical qualitative investigation and defends curricular and methodological decolonization as a form of philosophical and epistemic decentralization. The creation and application of intercultural pedagogical practices with references from African Philosophy are essential ways of promoting an anti-racist education.

Keywords: African Philosophy. Education. Racism. Afroperspectivism. Intersubjectivation.
