Abstract

Scratch as a Literary Creation Authorship Program

Abstract: We present the use of Scratch software as a system of authoring and pedagogical innovation in the language area, including the construction of digital narratives and the enhancement of important higher psychic functions. We aim to understand the development of literary creativity from the construction of digital narratives in Scratch. From a participatory research, we developed a qualitative study with research journal and data of the final versions of the narratives produced in Scratch. We conducted field actions with students of the second cycle of elementary school of a public school in southern Minas Gerais. We made a subjective correlation with the narratives produced, evaluating them from the textual point of view and in relation to creativity. We highlight in the results the writing of texts which meet the proposed genre, with marks of authorship and use of memory, attention, thought, language and imagination. We highlight the importance of the teacher in the elaboration of a didactic sequence that arouses the student's interest, the need for semiotic mediation to construct meaning to the proposed activity and the enhancement of literary creativity in the narratives produced.
