Abstract

Abstract: Platformization is linked to the articulation of infrastructures, such as digital platforms, in the various spheres of society. Regarding communication media, such as podcasts, their audiovisual and sound productions not only entertain, but also share information immersed in scientific knowledge. In this sense, understanding the complexity of the contemporary situation regarding scientific dissemination and its respective content producers, this study aimed to understand, based on reports from digital content producers, how podcasts can contribute to the dissemination of knowledge linked to the Natural Sciences. For this, semi-structured interviews were carried out with the content creators of 8 Brazilian scientific podcasts. After producing the information from their reports, the steps that make up Norman Fairclough's Critical Discourse Analysis were implemented along with assistance in the systematization of information from the IRaMuTeQ Software. In short, based on the analysis carried out, it was possible to highlight consonant elements among the interviewees about the relationship with digital technologies, education and science teaching; the importance of podcasts for scientific dissemination, amid current denialist movements, in addition to the necessary care in the midst of articulation with digital platforms and data security itself. Therefore, from this study, a speaking space was provided for content producers, mainly linked to scientific dissemination, a communicative sphere that has been adapting to the demands of a society increasingly dependent on platforms and their digital artifacts, such as podcasts.
