Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this research is to analyze how the concepts of Interdisciplinarity and Active Methodologies, specifically Problem-Based Learning, contribute to the creation of an Educational Digital Authorial Material (EDAM) by university students from different courses. Exploratory research with a qualitative approach was conducted, using the case study methodology. The unit of analysis is the EDAM titled "Relationship Apps," a video developed by an interdisciplinary group of four students during the first semester of 2022, within the scope of the Technological Teaching discipline at a Public Higher Education Institution in Ceará. The data analysis was conducted in two stages, namely: description of the structure and functioning of the EDAM, and direct interpretation of the material developed, comparing it with the theoretical aspects of interdisciplinarity and problem-based learning. The research results revealed that the tool created by the university students, integrating knowledge from various fields such as Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Philosophy, stimulated reflection on the theme and enabled understanding of the discussed concepts from different perspectives, demonstrating the possibilities of EDAM as a methodology that promotes active and collaborative learning, encouraging students to relate the search for romantic relationships to the evolutionary history of the species. However, opportunities for further development were identified, such as a more detailed exploration of aspects related to emotional attraction, such as "brain biology and chemistry," as well as the inclusion of practical examples of algorithms used in romantic relationship applications.

Keywords: Active methodologies. Articulation between knowledge. Digital technologies in graduation.
