Abstract

The present work analyzes the Novos Caminhos [New Pathways] Program, understood as a strategy that opens the way for privatization and entrepreneurship of professional and technological education. The objective of this study is to identify privatist strategies, indicating the consequences of the advance of capital on work and the State, also seeking to monitor forms of resistance and, above all, the advance of the progressive struggle that aims to guarantee rights. Historical and dialectical materialism is assumed here as a theoretical and methodological contribution, from which official documents and theoretical references will be used to identify the categories present in the movement studied in order to evolve from understanding to an action of resistance against the attacks and impacts observed. At the end of the text, it is expected to confirm that the researched program can be understood as an action of privatization of public professional education, as it involves interests that weaken state action and make the world of work even more precarious.
