Abstract

This article presents the results of a study that analyzed the presence – or not – of technological education aimed at impoverished women and PROEJA students in articles published in the journals of two Federal Institutes: the #Tear magazine, from IFRS and the EJA in Debate magazine, from the IFSC. The time frame of the editions was the years 2012 to 2017. To carry out the analysis of the selected articles, document analysis was used, through the perspective of feminist hermeneutics and popular education. We conclude that in the magazines there is an invisibilization of the women students at PROEJA, which signals a reflection of how technological education, which already includes women, still has a great challenge of envisioning their presence in Federal Institutes and in society in general.
