In nowadays increasingly computerized society, it is not enough just to know how to read and write, there is also a need to develop technological and social skills, understand and to question what is presented in the virtual universe. Due to this fact, there is an urgent need to promote these skills to high school and/or technical students and teachers to meet such demands, especially after the pandemic period of Covid-19, in 2020, in which the use of information and communication technologies was instituted in the most diverse areas. Thus, to identify academic works related to issues linked to digital competence, this Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was prepared, based on the research method established by Kitchenham. This SLR focused on the identification of works that dealt with literacy, schooling, fluency or digital competence in the sense of using Digital Information and Communication Technologies (DICT) to assist in teaching and learning processes, as well as the positioning of teachers in the use of these technological devices. For that, bases were analyzed in which inclusion and exclusion criteria were defined in the selection of the studies, according to the amount of works found. The objective of this study is to identify the gaps to be filled to promote the effective training of high school and/or technical students and teachers in the field of DICT, based on selected studies, in order that it is possible to acquire digital skills required to maintain social integration, employability and citizenship.
